CALIFORNIA - The founder of the site RSS FeedBurner Dick Costolo surprise with his decision to occupy one position at Twitter.

Having resigned from Google as Executive Director at Google in July, Costolo not received a new job. The man behind the establishment of the site's RSS FeedBurner, finally decided to accept the proposal Twitter, to carry out the position as Chief Operating Officer. Costolo own start work on next week.


"He (Costolo) is actually an old friend from Bizz Stone and Evan William (founder of Twitter). So clearly Bizz trust and respect for the work already done during this Costolo. And expect to cooperate with him on Twitter headquarters," the spokesman said Twitter Jenna Sampson, told Softpedia, Friday (4/9/2009).

Feedburner Costolo founded in 2004 as a way for bloggers and website owners to manage their own RSS feed. Quickly making this a very popular product, which in turn was bought by Google sebedar 100 million in the year 2007. Costolo himself became one of the important officials in Google.

But in July 2009 and declared Costolo back from Google, and plans to start another company. But, now, Twitter seems to have made an attractive offer and has managed to convince him to join the company

Entrance Costolo Twitter team adds a long list of ex-Google people are moving to Twitter. Because as is known, Bizz Stone and Evan Williams is the man behind Google's acquisition of Blogger.com. Both later resigned to set up Twitter, the idea is not much different from Blogger.com. (tyo)
